The project has reached 1 million safe working hours without any lost-time injuries during the construction of Business Park Phase 3, a significant achievement in the realm of large-scale urban developments.
This accomplishment is particularly impressive given the complex nature of the construction works, which included excavation, shoring piling, concrete works, and extensive heavy equipment operations across multiple work fronts. At its peak, the site accommodated over 860 personnel, all of whom were engaged in a rigorous HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) approach that went beyond mere compliance. This approach involved continuous workforce engagement and operational preparedness, ensuring that every individual was actively involved in maintaining a safe working environment.
The project team's dedication to safety is evident in the extensive training and communication efforts. Over 1,500 induction and training sessions, over 2,200 toolbox talks, regular safety briefings, operator assessments, and emergency drills were conducted throughout the project. These measures have not only ensured a safe working environment but have also set a high benchmark for HSE practices in large-scale urban developments.

Madinat Al Irfan's Business Park Phase 3 is part of a larger vision to create a thriving business district. As Oman's first fully gold LEED-certified commercial hub, the Business Park combines Grade A office buildings, public spaces, smart infrastructure, and sustainability standards. The new phase will introduce three office towers, a central promenade, and 1,333 parking spaces, further enhancing the district's appeal as a modern business destination.
